The kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Kadimul Islam, has condoled the late Alh. Mukhtari Ibrahim Zimit family, a brother to Hon. Shehu Ibrahim former Executive secretary kano state scholarship board.
Ganduje described the death of Alh. Mukhtari Ibrahim Zimit as a monumental loss not only for us, our brother and the family but it is a loss for all the entire people of Gwale local Government Area, kano state and Nigeria in general, indeed we loss a great friend and brother.
According to him the deceased was a man who would do everything in his capacity to uplift, improved and advance the cause of his peoples. The governor said in his life time late Alh. Mukhtari Ibrahim Zimit had Genuine desire to contribute his quota to build of a better society, he was highly respected by his peers, he was indeed a great man who wrote for himself an enviable page in history with his service to the nation and humanity. The governor prays Almighty Allah to grant the family and close associate of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
In his reaction, the former governor of kano state Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has describe the late Mukhtari Ibrahim Zimit as a man of high integrity, humane public officer, dedicated and determine whose death will be sorely missed.
Kwankwaso said the late Zimit lived well and left a legacy that is going to be enduring forever, in fact we have lost a great friend, loving, caring and dependable brother who led a shining Muslim life worth of emulation, the former governor regret that we have lost a rare gem at a time when his service were needed, he pray to almighty Allah to grand him Aljanna firdaus.
In a similar vein the chairman of Gwale local government Hon. Khalil Ishaq Diso has expressed shock over the demise of late Alh. Mukhtari IbrahimZimit who passed away on Tuesday 22nd January, 2020 at the age of 68.
According to him the passing of Alh. Mukhtari zimit reminded us of the finite nature of our existence on this side of life and it tell us in a graphic language that whatever we are and whatever we do, somehow, someday it will be all over, the chairman also commiserate with the family, members, friends and close associate of the late Zimit noted that he has a distinguish career in Nigerian society of Engineers and left behind an impeccable record of caring leadership a legacy of forth rightness, thoroughness and unwavering commitment to the public goods. He will certainly be remembered for his rare courage and contribution to the human development. The chairman pray that almighty Allah will grant his soul eternal rest and comfort his family.
