GOSA GETS NEW EXCO…MUSA DISO

The Garki Old Student Association (GOSA) in Jigawa State has elected
new executive council officials with Alh. Umar Nuhu Dan Liman as new
Chairman to pilot the affairs of the association in the the next Three
(3) years.
Speaking after the election which was held at the school premises.The
newly elected chairman Alh.UmarNuhu DanLiman pledge to be just and
equitable in carrying out his function. Saying that GOSA should be
greater than any individual and we most work hard to take the
association ta a greater height, I will work to championed this, he
said.
Dan Liman promise to work with Executive councils officials to make
the Association to Actualized its’ dream of greater place. The
chairman said he will run an open door policy where everybody will
have a say and contribute immensely toward the development of the
Association.
Dr. Abubakar Kwalle Karaye, V.C 2 of the Association said for any
nation to attain growth and development the association should be made
to play a critical role in the promotion, consolidation and
sustainable development. Indeed it is the ingredient of any meaningful
development.
Dr. Karaye urged all the newly elected executives to come together in
other to actualize our dreams of moving forward and make GOSA to stand
tall among all it peers. He thanks the electorate for making the Event
free and fair.
In his remark Hon. Dayyabu Shehu, member representing taura
constituency in Jigawa House of Assembly said the fundamental
objectives of making old student association was to poster unity among
former student of the chapter were ever they may be irrespective of
tribes and geographical base and extent assistance to a deserving
member of the chapter.
Honorable Dayyabu who is also GOSA member said he was happy to attend
the AGM meeting because for the past 40 years since they left the
school, I have not being able to see some of our former student who
are present here, in fact what I feel today there is no simple way to
put that feeling into words. Saying that those who forget quickly the
event of the past are bound to fall into whims and caprice.
Haj. Na’ima Abdullahi Hussaini, class 92 chapter commended the
organizing committee for making the event colorful and successful.
Haj. Na’ima who is also the first head girl said she was confident
that the new Exco will take the union to a greater height. She
expressed her gratitude to the management of the school and Jigawa
state ministry of education for the support and making the AGM meeting
successful.

Shehu Adamu as vice chairman 1, Dr Abubakar Kwalle Karaye as vice
chairman 2, Mal. Adamu Shehu as Secretary General, Rakiya Isyaku
Shareef as Assistant Secretary General, Dr. Ghali Sa’idu as Treasurer,
Razika Lawan as Legal Adviser, Muhammed Kabir Ringim as P.R.O,
Libabatu Rabo Assistant P.R.O, Halima Adamu Idris as Financial
Secretary, Mal. Magaji Baffah as Assistant Financial Secretary, Hadi
Habu as Auditor 1, Muhammed Magaji Muhammad as Auditor 2, Ya’u Zakari
Lajawa as Welfare 1, Lami Sarki as Welfare 2, Mal. Ibrahim Musa Yahuza
as Security Adviser 1, Adamu Muhammad Ringim as Security Adviser 2
