Kano shuts clinic operating with unqualified staff, to begin prosecution The Executive Secretary of Kano State Private Health Institution Management Agency (PHIMA), Dr Usman Tijjani Aliyu has said the agency has shut down a clinic allegedly operating with unqualified medical personnel. This was just as he disclosed that all the unqualified staff arrested during the raid of the facility would be charged to court. According to him, the closure of the health facility named, Fresh-Care Clinic, situated in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano was based on complaints by residents over alleged unprofessional conduct of operations. Aliyu stated this in a statement issued and made available to pressmen onWednesday. He, however, disclosed that the persistent complaints of patients’ mismanagement at the private health facility

INVESTIGATION: Health minister exaggerated, Nigeria not prepared to combat Coronavirus

THE Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, announced weeks ago that Nigeria is prepared to handle Coronavirus, a deadly virus that originated from Wuhan, China, which has killed over 1,800 and infested 73,325 persons.
